AmaKhosi confirm Lilepo's move to Libya's Al Ahly Benghazi

Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has confirmed that forward Glody Makabi Lilepo has completed a move to Libyan outfit Al Ahly Benghazi, after the two clubs reached agreement on a transfer fee.
The Democratic Republic of Congo-born attacker, who can operate as either a winger or a striker, arrived at Naturena in January 2025 from French side Valenciennes.
Over his 18 months with the Soweto giants, the 29-year-old made 56 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and setting up a further five.
His spell at Chiefs included lifting the Nedbank Cup, just four months after signing, and a nomination for goal of the season at the 2025-26 Premier Soccer League awards.
In a statement, the club thanked Lilepo for his contribution and wished him well in Libya and for the rest of his career.
