A trio of estate agents with an eye for a sale and a talent for saying the wrong thing are taking to the stage at Sandton Theatre on the Square in the final Johannesburg run of the satirical comedy The Agents.

The Robaby Productions play follows Venter, Linda and Brenda as they navigate the competitive world of property sales, taking aim at luxury estate living, gentrification and the pursuit of the property dream.

Written and performed by Kyla Davis, Lisa Derryn Overy and Roberto Pombo, and directed by Toni Morkel, the production combines physical comedy, mime and clowning.

In a statement published by Artslink, Pombo said the play’s targets included property influencers, home buyers and neighbourhood watch groups.

The production runs until Saturday, 31 October. It has a running time of one hour and an age restriction of 14.

Tickets are available through Webtickets.
